Ive been putting my slip in every week for 5 years now, and never won. This is a big time mobbed up pool with payouts in the 10's of thousands each week. In fact my buddy at work one it one week in 2002 and split it with 4 other winners and still took home $12,000.

Well last night the bubble burst as the FBI apparently raided the operation and arrested everyone and took the money. Whats funny is that the guy who collects the money here for this thing actually won this week for the first time ever and now he gets NOTHING! hahaha

unless they made the arrests to get information in other areas, this seems like a waste of the feds' time...

i mean, shouldnt they all be looking for terrorists non-stop to protect us?

you have a point, but the mob basically uses the money they get from gambling to fund many of their other operations such as: drugs, bid-rigging, union corruption and so on.

Taking away their primary revenue stream is often an affective tactic when dealing with organized crime.

the govt. should just legalize sports gambling and tax it. they would make a killing.
