How much do you think he made per gig? I'm estimating like $3,000 a show. No idea why i made this a thread but a couple of people here were having a discussion about how he's left of the album and most liekly the tour. Just wondering if Boom has enough walking around money and how much he might have made per gig.

I bet he makes a very good amount from touring i dont see the band being very stingy when paying off people that work for them

Am I way off saying $3,000 per show? We're almost coming to blows because of this. maybe it's better that you don't tell me, my friend has been asking for a beating for awhile

He's definitely not left off the album. I can hear him in almost every song, and "Inside Job" would be significantly less of a song without him.

Well...say the band is playing the gorge...20,000 people...and assume its a sell out...how much do you think the band takes in after all expenses paid? Than how much do you think each member gets? Kelly Curtis? Roadies...boom?

I hear piano on Insie Job but I was assuming it wasn't Boom playing it. Didn't know he was still a part of the band. I also assumed that if there was piano on the album, he wasn't playing it

The main 5 probably get like 19% each, leaving 5% for Boom.

i think he makes way way more and he gets profits from album sales too. or he got paid up front to work on the tracks he's been on.

ask yourself how much the band makes off a show.. touring is their money maker.. i know Ed is worth more, but last tour, Boom was on nearly every song as well as Ed.. he's got to do well over $3k a show in that case.. cause Ed is much higher than that obviously. it would be neat to see a break down of every band member and what they get monetarily. does Jeff make more than Matt? i mean shit, he has to beat those drums all damn night.. that's rough work.

interesting for sure!

i dont know why but i was wondering this same thing yesterday.

and i expect to see him out on tour this year, he wasnt on SNL because he wasnt really needed on the 2 songs but im sure he will be there.

how about from that show the other day, was he there?

i would hope he makes around 1k per show, thats a pretty good amount after a full tour.

i actually think it's closer to this. now you just have to figure out what the band makes as a whole.

the gorge that sells 20,000 seats.. that's $1 mil in ticket sales.. let's say the band gets 50% of that.. $500k

each band member makes 90k and that leaves Boom with 50k??

10% of show earnings?

5% like above is 25k... so i think it's well over the $3k or less that everyone is saying.

I have no idea but if I had to guess I'd say between one and three grand a show.

check out my math above and ask if $3k is reasonable? i think it's much too low.

using mitchell's percentages, 500k would be each band member making 95k with boom making 25k

i think thats too high.

if each member made 100k which is reasonable for a show.. do you really think they'd give Boom just $3k? what a slap in the face.. hahaa.. maybe he hasn't shown up lately for a reason then! hhaha
