leave it where its at right now

sure it would be nice to have more money, but it wont affect people much in terms of spending, because prices will increase to help pay for the increase in pay

Decrease it!!!

Lowering the minimum wage help keep inflation low and strengthen the dollar. But if you don't care about things like that than by all means increase it.

Shouldn't it at least increase at the rate of inflation?

Abolish wages entirely. Abolish private ownership of property. Establish an Aquarian Utopia of sharing, freedom, and gay, gay sex.

I've been torn on this issue for quite some time.

What I've been looking for for quite some time are figures that show what percentage of minimum wage users hold more than one job. If this number is high, then it would seem that the unemployment that would result in the short term would be off-set by a reduction of the workforce in the long term.

Here's a hypothetical question: Should there be preference when it comes to employment?--i.e., should the poor man who's the breadwinner for a family of four be employed over the teen-ager who can be supported by his parents?

And that brought about a desire for gay sex. Interesting.

Abolish it. I won't have a minimum wage as a mechanical engineer once I get my degree...why should burger flippers? Economically minimum wages make no sense, mainly because they are for jobs that are intended for young people to work...such as burger flippers. But all things aside, even fast food restaurants and Wal*Mart pay their low skilled employees above the federally mandated minimum wage.

What are you on about? A minimum wage is for everyone including you, yes? And if not then it should be, yes?

I agree with the former, not the latter. Increasing the minimum wage is a temporary fix that does address the problem. Personally I dont feel there should be government intervention of any form in regards to our economic practices, and I extend that theory towards anti-trust legislation as well.

Abolish it.

This isn't my main reason, but at what point is the minimum high enough? Seems like with every raise, there are still the same number of people that say it isn't enough. A "living" or "working" wage is a ridiculous proposition too, no one deserves $15/hr for making french fries, tending a parking lot, or cashiering at KMart.

The minimum wage is not for. I have acquired enough education and skills where I wouldn't work for ten dollars an hour at this point in my life. There's no mimum wage for doctors. There's no minimum wage for Lawyers. Why should there be a minumum wage for people flippin' burgers.

And no, there shouldn't be a minimum wage that includes. For it would be disasterous to the economy to have such a notion.

Did you forget to finish the rest of these sentences? Or am I just reading them incorrectly? (I honestly want to know - I'm not picking on you.)
