considering the source of the CNN article is Billboard, it all starts to make sense......

Actually what I meant was if this album is any indication of future albums, I would rather they hit the raod than hit the studio.

I hate say hit the road some more, especially the South a.k.a. Florida. They better fuckin do it or else.

I'd prefer a follow up within the next year. They are on a roll after the less than great yield, binaural and riot act.

It's the short version of the RS interview.

They ALWAYS suggest the possibility of entering the studio ASAP, and they never do. I think they bring it up during the "how awesome are we" post-recording high, and by the time they've been living the road life for months they just want to be home. And as unmotivated as this band is once they sit down on their own couches, I'm guessing there'll be another wait for a record.

I'm guessing a short tour extension followed by a traditional year break before recording.

I think they started the Avocado sessions right after vote for change ended. Can anyone confirm that, or am I wrong?

but they already had a year break between vfc and the end of the 2003 tour.
