Yesterday there was a top ten Seinfield thread.

I sat down tonight trying to come up with a top ten Friends episode thread.
I could not.

I remember moments, forgive me I am a huge sentimentalist. Like when Ross and Rachel first kissed, when he came back to the coffee house and she couldn't get the door open and then she did, when they had broken up and she saw the 'prom video" and Ross had come down the stairs to take her to prom and then her date showed up. When Chandler asked Monica to marry him. (Forgive me I am just a romantic) anyway

I grew up watching shows like: MASH, Friends, Cheers, honestly a lot of the sitcoms didn't really reach out and grab me but those ones did.

Anyway can anyone come up with a top ten? I will give them $100.00.
Really :)

Wrong forum, btw.

Um, let's take a stab at this.

1. The One Where No One's Ready
2. The One With The Embryos
3. The One With The Videotape

Yeah, I can get about that far. I love the show, but those are the only episodes that really stand out for me.

I enjoyed when Jon Lovitz was the pot-smoking food critic.

"Macaroni & Cheese! We have to make this!"

I'm not a big Friends fan, but I did enjoy "TOW the Baby Shower", where Joey is preparing to audition for a new game show and practices with Ross and Chandler.

"Whoa, what's complicated? You spin the Wheel of Mayhem to go up the Ladder of Chance; you go past the Mud Hut; through the Rainbow Ring to get to the Golden Monkey; you yank his tail, and BOOM you're in paradise pond!"

Oh man, the part where Joey goes, "Look at me I'm Chandler. Could I be wearing anymore clothes." I laugh my ass off. haha

Friends is by far my favorite sitcom ever, I'm sure I could come up with more than 10 of my favorite episodes. When I really want to procrasitinate later I'll come up with my top 10.

Seriously, it's hilarious. The whole episode is in real time and it all takes place in the one apartment. It's basically just one, long scene. It's like a one-act play. I loved it.

As for the rest of the show... eh. I mean, I watched it and still watch it. It can be extremely funny, but the drama was so... high school. In contrast to a show like Scrubs, which seamlessly and perfectly blends drama and comedy, it's really, really weak. Although it pretty much towers over most of the rest of what's on TV. Then again, Scrubs entirely transcends network television, so it's not really a fair comparison.
