I'm trying to makes cases for the 2005 bootlegs...ya know, put the artwork in them and stuff. But it seems the only double disc jewel cases I can find are slim ones. I don't like slims because they have no spine and putting them on a shelf is pointless because you can't tell what they are.

Anyway...anyone know where you can get regular double disc jewel cases? The kind that are the same width as a standard case.

Thanks for any help...peace.

If you know a CD shop that sells used cd's, they probably sell the blank boxes too. The one I used to frequent in WI had tons of 'em, because they'd buy them in bulk to replace broken disc cases that people sold to them. I bought 2 disc cases, and I was even able to get a 4 disc double wide blank from them for my 4 disc PJ rarities collection.

But I'll try to find a site online too...

I wouldn't buy one of those without seeing it in person first.

Not that they're the same, but they look remarkably similar to a set that I bought a few years ago. (The + shape of the tray was what caught my eye.) The center peg of the set was non-standard, and didn't "give" like standard jewel cases do. The center peg was also ever-so-slightly wider than a standard CD hole. The cases ended up cracking every CD I put into them from the inside out.

CompUSA has them. That's where I get all of mine. They're a standard jewel box with a double-disc insert thingy so you can use regular-sized tray cards in them, etc.

This is the site I use

http://www.squaredealonline.com/b.asp?v=79

Personally I hate jewel boxes and threw all mine out. I got a box of 1000 Polyethylene sleeves for $27. I probably have more crap than the average person though as I went out and bought a piece of furniture designed to file all these discs.  :naughty:

Try sleevetown.com

This site has what you want and more. To me it's kind of spendy, but you get what you pay for.
