I picked my favorite track 1, track 2, track 3...etc, to create my ultimate PJ album (taken from the 8 studio albums). I couldn't help but put in some runner-ups. Let's see yours, bitches.

1. Go (followed by Last Exit...and how could I forget Once)
2. Even Flow (would be the winner by a mile if Animal wasn't so kick-ass)
3. Alive (the classic PJ song, followed closely by Daughter)
4. Light Years (in a virtual tie with Severed Hand)
5. Black (tough one...I love the lyrical theme of Wishlist)
6. Thin Air (another toughy....considering Jeremy pretty much put PJ on the map)
7. Blood (the rest of the #7's are very "meh" in comparison)
8. everything but Red Dot & Big Wave (track #8 has been PJ's collective best over time)
9. Rats (followed by Gone, I guess)
10. Present Tense (with Elderly Woman right behind)
11. Release (obviously. Leash a close second. very close)
12. Indifference (Soon Forget is a very distant second)
13. Immortality (one of PJ's all-time greats, though the other #13's are quite good)
14. Stupid Mop (never had much love for this...but less love for Arc)
15. All Or None (by default...but I fucking love this song)

For some reason it just makes me feel good when I listen to Thin Air. I know the words...but I've never tried to analyze or interpret them (much like the rest of the PJ catalog...I'm not real big on trying to analyze what the songs mean) and I guess they just have a good feel to them, in my mind.

The point was to pick your favorite track number from all the albums, so for instance your 3rd song would be your favorite between alive, daughter, not for you, who you are, no way, etc.
