to raise awareness for breast cancer, the brewers will be playing with pink bats on sunday. although it's for a good cause, pink bats? c'mon. :?

If Derek Jeter goes 4/4 on Sunday, he's going to use a pink bat for the rest of the season.




He wants to do it anyways, but going 4/4 will give him a legitimate excuse.

IIRC, sometime in March, the NHL did a similar act, with players using pink sticks. They were later auctioned off for charity.

I think it's great that MLB is doing this. Same thing they do for Fathers Day weekend, but I think they wear blue ribbons to support prostate cancer.
