I can count on one hand the number of albums on that list that don't make me And it's doubtful I'd be making use of all five fingers.

i'm kind of sick of seeing the disposable corporate-hip retro-pop pretty boys being on top of every list.Franz Ferdinand,The Libertines, The Streets -these bands have one annoyingly catchy radio hit then disappear. They are alternative to nothing but real alternative music. But now Real alternative music doesnt get the props they used to in these lists.I mean Morrissey.PJ Harvey,Bjork,Elliott Smith,Tom Waits-this is the shit that that should be in the top.Not MTV made retro GAP commercials with no substance.
Gwen Stafani but no R.E.M. (again)?a joke.Green Day but no Social D?Killers but no Cure?

It is clear that NME should be taken out of the Music section of your local newsagency and put in the Fashion section instead. That would make a whole assload of sense to me.
