Team Sleep have updated fans with the latest on their extremely long-awaited forthcoming debut album. Here's what was said:
"So the record is finished and a final mix and master is in motion as we speak. An early '05 release is planned along with a 5 week US 5 week European tour. We are also in the process of getting a video done this month. "What is the exact release date?!" You ask? Well, that will come soon. "Are you sure about all this, I mean, is it for reals this time?!" You ask? Before we pull a Dan Rather, this is the basic information we have to give. More details will follow soon. Thank you all for your patience, tenacity, faith and continued dedication!"
I'm interested but I won't be disappointed if it turns out to be lame.

Team Sleep comprises Deftones frontman Chino Moreno and his friends Todd Wilkenson (guitar) and DJ Crook.
Deftones producer Terry Date produced the album, which features guest appearances from Deftones members Abe Cunningham (drums), Stephan Carpenter (guitar) and Frank Delgado (turntables).

hey the deftones are about the only band in rock thats managed to do the turntable thing right. i cant vouch for team sleep but you will not hear 1 scratch on a deftones album. its all for mood and ambiance. amazing work....
