I didn't know there was an NBA playoffs thread, I don't frequent this forum. I'm not even that big on basketball, I just know this dude is a cunt and said we'd never win in Detroit. I LOVED THE SILENCE.

Rasheed was given the NBA's award for charitable player yesterday. He's no asshole.
do they count the money he's fined as part of his charitable contributions?

Sheed's a stubborn-hothead on the court... he's a gentleman and one hell of a guy off of it... i dont see what the problem is
maybe i'm wrong, but didnt Sheed say that there is no way the Cavs would win the Series, or did he actually say they wouldnt lose in Detroit... i thought it was something to the effect of "they still have to beat us in Detroit.... we wont lose the series"... i could be wrong...

do you consider the time he "confronted" a ref outside the Rose Garden an on-court or off the court incident? Whatever it was, he got suspended for it.
then there's this infamous story:
Quote:
"As they were leaving the practice facility Wednesday, the morning of their final shootaround together, [Bonzi] Wells and [Rasheed] Wallace saw Ruben Boumtje Boumtje shooting jump shots some 100 feet away with his back turned to them.
Wallace slapped Wells on the back and said, "Watch this." Then he picked up a ball, reared back and fired a 100-foot, baseball-style strike that left Boumtje Boumtje writhing the floor. Trainers were summoned. After a few scary minutes, Boumtje Boumtje walked off, OK.
Wells and Wallace?
They giggled like schoolchildren and ran away the moment their teammate hit the canvas."
yup, that's 'Sheed....gentleman and all around good guy.
