For those of you who have been to the '06 shows, have there been any "Eddie! Eddie!" or "Pearl Jam!" "Pearl Jam!" chants before the band comes out?

That used to happen all the time. Anyway, anyone want to start a Pearl Jam chant, say ten minutes after MMJ plays at the Boston shows next week?

I always got the impression that Ed doesn't like the Eddie chants

That's why I am suggesting the Pearl Jam chant instead. I believe its been done before.

I'll be there both nights, probably in the first few rows. I'll be the real excited jackass, no just kidding. I'll start a Pearl Jam chant about ten minutes after the MMJ set. Pass the word.

If I were going I would be. But I've always found that shows where the crowd is loudest (and believe me they can hear you backstage) turn out to be the best and having 18,000 chanting Pearl Jam over and over again will send a message. The Garden will rock!

yeah, and I hated it. Drives me fucking nuts... like after Present Tense of Alive, all the non-fans start chanting Eddie Eddie for no reason. Fuck off. Chant Mike! Mike! instead... but obviously they don't know anyone else in the band and just want to act like little fucking teeny-boppers by yelling "Eddie!".

Frist we stick to the Pearl Jam chant.

I want Boston to create the loudest crowd noise they've ever heard. Think your fav baseball team won the world series, your football team won the super bowl and you just fucked the living shit out of Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria, and Jen Anniston all at the same time.
