AJ's hit looked warranted to me. The ball was coming towards the plate and the guy was standing on top of it. What was he supposed to do? Stop?

I'm sure he said something to the guy but that's no reason to get thrown out of the game.

I can see Andersen getting thrown out since he did throw a punch.

Im guessing the catcher didnt like the way AJ slapped the plate like a tough guy. I dont think the punch was warrented but AJ Peirzinski is a fucking jerkoff. Im glad it was him haha

Well I'm not saying it warranted a punch in the head, but Pierzynski should not have slapped the plate, and it was pretty clear to me that he intentionally bumped Barrett as he got up. It was stupid of Barrett to react like that, but Pierzynski showed some really unsportsmanlike play there.

It's funny how people are calling for Barrett to get 25 games on this... if it was a hockey game, he'd get 5 minutes, maybe just 2 for roughing.

No way. Barrett was laying there and just standing up. Pierzynski leaned into him. There's no way it was an accident and there's no way it was Barrett getting in the way.

aj was trying to get his helmet. they were going to run into each other and aj tucked his shoulder to go around him. michael then grabbed him with his left arm and punched with the right. ridiculous.
