So... What do we all consider to be the biggest musical influences to Pearl Jam.

The Beatles?
Led Zeppelin?
The Who?
Neil Young?
The Ramones?
KISS?
Ben Harper?

Ben Harper?!?!? I'm pretty sure THEY influenced HIM.

I'd definately say The Who and Neil Young, with Springsteen becoming more of an influence as time goes by.

They mention The Who quite a bit as an influence. Look at who they've covered. All of those bands have had some kind of influence on the band. I've heard Ed say that Fugazi is one of his favorite bands along with Minor Threat. Some obvious others would be Neil Young, Beatles, John Lennon, The Ramones, Iron Maiden (Mike), The Clash, Metallica (Jeff), Beach Boys and countless others.

Pearl Jam tried to emulate Staind more than anyone else.

Wouldn't you say most of these bands came out of the same scene and similar influences, but not that they influenced Pearl Jam?
