And thus ends the most ridiculous year of 24 I have seen.
I really don't think Jack is going to confront Logan. He's on his way to the submarine, Logan's at the compound. I think the "Charles Logan Face" we've seen in the commercials is a reaction to the "Mike Novick Face," when Mike really finds out the entire truth and confronts him. Aaron could still shoot him, or the first lady. Or maybe the missiles will hit the presidential retreat...isn't that what they want to do?
I also think there's a distinct possibility we could be heading for an ending more in line with Season 1, i. e. Jack not crying in a car or walking into the sunset, but something very bad happening. We shall see.

agreed that this season has had its share of ridiculousness, but it has been one of the most entertaining seasons to date, and in the end that's what its all about for me. Its off the hook out there, but its fun.

meh. this season has been ok. there have been a lot of filler episodes, more so than most seasons i think. hopefully the finale will be good though. they usually dont disappoint.
One thing I have liked about this season is there haven't been any plodding sub-plots that take away from the thrust of the main plotline. Behroooooooz .... That said, the thrust of the main plotline has been pretty ridiculous.
If that happens, then I say the impact is lessened by her shooting the SS guy from last episode. It would be far more effective if she showed no prior inclination to killing someone, and if the audience never sees it coming. I can see Wayne Palmer doing it, though.

That's a good theory, Wayne has been sort-of-missing for a few weeks. How would he get back into the compound though? Good chance Logan is gonna leave.
I figure the whole sub situation will be resolved in the first hour and things will be mopped up in the second.

I'm glad I stuck around after the show for an Exclusive Fox Look (at scenes from the show I just watched).

I wish they'd just have a 25 episode to wrap shit up. The timelines on that last 30 minutes were insane. Jack was transported from LA police custody (surrounded by soldiers and officers) to a ship and it undocked and went to sea in like 20 minutes, all while being beaten to within an inch of his life.
And CTU played that tape for the AG and 5 minutes later it's like, "hey later! I'm headin' to Waffle House! Find someone to take care of all the bodies and stuff!"

i hate that like in season 2 we don't have any idea who those people behind the scenes were. at least it seems that unlike promises made after last seasons ending, next season will have to stray significantly from the show's normal format.

Well, it's over. I hope Jack finds a way out and doesn't experience brainwashing or something ludicrous for next season.
It would've been really great if they cuffed Logan's hands at the end of his speech. Ah, wishes.
Anyway, this season was alright. I enjoyed the first three incredibly. This season had it's moments and I think they'll have a really fresh start (who is left from the original cast?)
I'd almost hope next season is an ordinary day with people having to deal with more ordinary things. The possibility of the world coming to an end each day is getting tiring.
God bless,
Jared
