good question.
i'd pick help, help because it improves tenfold live.

I personally love Sleight of Hand live on the boots so it gets my vote. Help, Help sucks on the album and is only marginally better on the bootleg I heard.

yeah - the album version is kinda dull ...
try listening to the live version again .. espeically that last part when they start rocking: " ... I see his face he looks just like me ... a mirror ... "
i think it goes like that

Sleight Of Hand tends to drag on and get boring live, although there are a hand full of great performances of it, one being Toronto 2000. However, the nine or so times that they played Help, Help, it improved a ton. Mansfield I 2003 is probably the best version.
i think the denver version from 2003 is outstanding (is this the right show i'm thinking of here?)

help, help. see Det 03.
Sleight sounded much better in GR than it did in 03, or even 00. However, in comparision to the album versions, Help, Help makes a bigger jump in my relatively insignif opinion

oh yeah!! I have that Det show ... great, semi-random, setlist and performance ... Help, Help was a standout
I would never have expected a show in Detroit to be one of the best on the tour

Help Help was the best of the Riot Act songs live, for me, but when I bought the bootleg it didn't sound at all like it sounded when I was there. Some live songs translate well onto boot...not this one. It bounced along through a slightly eerie verse before breaking into a chorus that, any more bombastic, would have felt like it came off of Ten. Now, I like it on the record. It's a twisted, terrifying track and one of only a few that fits that album art. But live it was like the roar of a monster.
And then, on the boot, the chorus felt like it had been chopped down. Strange.

Sleight Of Hand
Help, Help is a hopeless song whether studio version or live version. 2nd worst live Pearl Jam song after Bu$hleaguer, which is good on Riot Act but god awful live.
