Would you like to see one of these in the future?...A PJ compilation of at least 4 discs. Do you think it is a likely that one will be released eventually? If so...what kind of box set would you like to see?
A very large sampling of their studio tracks on a small amount of discs (Led Zeppelin), or
a set of all unreleased tracks and rarities (The Cure - Join the Dots), or
a set of nothing but live material (Metallica - Live Shit: Binge & Purge), or
a mixture of it all (The Who - Thirty Years of Maximum R&B).

Sony/Epic will do whatever they can to profit off of any band. I definetly see something like this in the future for Pearl Jam.

and i only want to see it happen if unreleased stuff is on it . i don't want another greatest hits cd on our hands. but i have a feeling it will be a mix of everything

The Cure released 'Join the Dots', a box set of rarities with 4 cds.. Pearl Jam had enough material to do the same.
I think Bon Jovi released a smililarly themed box set. If that band somehow has 4 discs of unreleased material that people actually want to hear, I'm sure PJ could pull off a dynamite set.

Yes Bon Jovi did release a 4-disc box set of mainly unreleased stuff. And may I say it's one of the best things they've ever put out.

I'd like to see "Lost Cats" or something. Besides all the songs that we know of that were left of Lost Dogs, there's gotta be a bunch of other stuff. I think it was here that someone recently posted that Mike told them there were like 40 more songs that no one's heard yet...
I'd love a Lost Dogs sequel, but in the meantime what I really want are some b-sides from "Pearl Jam."

It will be tough for PJ to put together a box set worth buying. We've already got Lost Dogs, so there's your unreleased stuff (and that was less than half of Lost Dogs), they already release practically every live show, they have a ton of b-sides already out there, many of these "songs" you see on the tapes in the Lost Dogs liners are probably far from complete, and how good can any of the still unreleased stuff be? At most, they've got 2 discs worth of stuff worth listening to, would be my guess. So the record company will fluff it with 2 discs worth of stuff we've already got, but we'll buy it because we're suckers and need to have those five unreleased tracks.

Then again, Bee Girl was on LD.....
seriously, bee girl is better than half the other stuff on lost dogs.
no, not as serious, or good lyrically, but in a song i would listen to anytime, i'd take this over a lot of stuff on there. and on their real albums).
