Went through the catalogue the other day and thought about this as an album. Comments. This is obviously personal taste.

Last Exit
Life Wasted
Brain Of J
Comatose
Spin The Black Circle
Lukin
Rearviewmirror
Severed Hand
Go
Hail Hail
Corduroy
Do The Evolution
Yellow Ledbetter ( gotta slow down sometime )

Its speed is too break-neck to make a truly "ultimate" album. Some of my favourite rockers on there, though.

if you replaced STBC and lukin with a slower and mid temp song you'd be closer.

not even close.
just my opinion. even an ultimate pj rockers album shouldn't have life wasted or lukin or stbc.

Barf.

No flow. No theme. Terrible transitions (Evolution to Ledbetter?!?).

This would be my ultimate PJ album. Basically all I'm doing is taking my top 15 songs and putting them in an order that I think would work fine on a record.

01. Life Wasted
02. Last Exit
03. Go
04. Comatose
05. Sad
06. Faithful
07. Given To Fly
08. I Got Id
09. Severed Hand
10. Spin The Black Circle
11. Not For You
12. In My Tree
13. Wishlist
14. Blood
15. Do The Evolution

I've made countless compilations for others and myself and STBC has been absent from every one and they always flow great. The last one I made is pretty decent and goes like this...

1. Brain of J
2. Given to Fly
3. Red Mosquito
4. Garden
5. I Am Mine
6. Immortality (Benorayo Hall)
7. Hard to Imagine
8. Black (State College Penn. 2003)
9. Small Town (The Gorge 2005)
10. Low Light
11. In Hiding
12. Tremor Christ
13. Corduroy
14. Breath
15. Dissident
16. Rearviewmirror

Not the perfect one but I like how it flows, gets your attention right off then cools off just a little, then picks it back up before it eases into a more chill and relaxed maybe a little reflective state before it starts to pick up again then lights you up at the end with RVM

Ouch man. Ledbetter is only in there cause I will never get enough of the song. I find ( and that's why I stated "personal" preference ) I'm on the go alot, and that said, upbeat and full speed I found works. Yes, it's heavy, but there isn't a let up. I LOVE their slower stuff, but I like to be constantly hit in the face....................just not from you guys. I'm glad you guys gave your take on what you like to listen to, but to say BARF, is basically saying you don't like any of the songs. I might not be right on, but if an album would have been released like this, forget that it's a compilation, it would have been ate up by alot of buying public. Again........just my opinion.

Not one of these songs would even make my top 10.
