i think in all this promotion a new dvd is bound to be released.
the question is,what will it be?
a single concert or a compilation like the touring band?
if it's going to be a single concert i think the boston II has good chances..
i just heard it and it's like,"wow"!

It's too early to tell yet, but as of now Boston II has the best chance. Although Cleveland is not far behind.

the film all these shows, with one camera that is set up next to the board i beleive. they are set for archival. wish i had that job. not sure if its shot like it could be sold, it might just be set wide for the whole thing, for archival and review when the band wants to chek themselves

I don't know what happened to the "Touring Band 2005 DVD Canada/South Amerca" really. Every single show they played last year in SA was Pro-Shot, ALL of them, the only ones I'm not quite sure of are Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro all the rest were. In fact during the Sao Paulo concert, 03-12-05, the TV station that broadcasted part of it told the press that they were supposed to give the whole material to the band for the upcoming DVD, furthermore, they were followed since they arrived at the airport, back stage and the concerts. Why are they taking so long?.....

Seems like pro-shooting EVERY show on a tour would be costly as hell.
My assumption would be that the camera by the SBD is mostly a wide-shot, but I've never seen them live so I haven't been able to watch and see if they move the camera around or not.

i don't know if this is what you mean by pro-shot, but the entire 2k3 tour was shot in the same fashion as LATG, I think.

they should videotape all the shows the way they did the last leg of 2000 which they made TB2K out of. The crew just taped it with handheld cameras, and it turned out awesome
