The new Lostprophets single "Rooftops" is pretty good. Yeah I know you all hate them, but they're just a guilty pleasure of mine. Check out the video here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=xbm97i3sOM4

Alright! Well now that Eighteen Visions went from the best hardcore band ever to commercial emo garbage, here's the new single from their upcoming record: http://www.myspace.com/eighteenvisions
This thread is great! -Sunny

The fact that they look like wristband-douchebags has kept them off my radar, so I'd rather not check out the video thanks
But I might listen to the song later

you're correct about the rapper being there. it's his side project or some shit called Fort Minor. absolutely horrible stuff.
at least the guy is consistent
i actually didn't think the blonde haired screamer was that terrible. i heard some live stuff they did for mtv or vh1 and he was obviously the most talented person in the band.

I think I might actually like this band if they had a real singer. But then they'd basically be Incubus.
The Linkin Park musicians are nowhere close to the Incubus musicians.
Just make a one to one comparison with the guitarrist, drummer and bassist. Nowhere close. And not to mention composing abilities.

You're probably right. I wasn't trying to bag on Incubus in the slightest, but I can see how that came across. Thing is, I've never listened to more than 1/2 of any given Linkin Park song because I can't get past the singer/rapper. The singer's voice is grating and the rapper can't rap. The music always sounded alright though.
