Damn these things have taken off.

My question: Anybody know the typical amount of time it takes between the end of a season and the DVD release of said season?

More specifically...anybody have any guess as to when Lost Season 2 DVD will be out?

seems like it's around 5 months, depending on the show.

October 3 for lost.

My younger brother owns all ten of the released M*A*S*H seasons, the first three Boy Meets World seasons, and has rented and watched three seasons of Doogie Howser, and one of Emergency!

I'm going to rent the first Lost season later this summer, I'm really excited.

When does Season 3 of Arrested Devlopement hit DVD? I heard June 13, but then I also heard that it got pushed back.

I don't get why so many people buy these things. C'mon, TV dramas suck.

you'll never see the Wonder Years, 90210, My So Called Life, etc.

they all used so many popular songs that they'll either need to pay royalties to every artist or change the music in each episode to something generic (which would ruin it)

Freaks and Geeks got permission from every artist but that was considered a miracle.

Interesting. That's good to know. Thanks.

I'm still pissed though.

Law and Order
24

The "Law and Order" episodes I've seen were pretty average, and "24" fucking blows.

Rescue Me.

Haven't seen it, but I was kind of referring to network dramas.

In that case, Law and Order: SVU, while inconsistent, does put on some really good stuff from time to time.
