It so obviously was. Harry Browne clearly won the popular vote by a landslide. Goddamn electoral college.

If the Rolling Stone is reporting it, it must be true.

Yeah no reason to take it seriously, when the author was Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

I know you were being sarcastic, but that's actually more reason not to take the article seriously. I love the spectacle of a Kennedy complaining about a fixed election.

I think we all know LW's feelings on Mr. Kennedy, thus I do not comprehend why you would appeal to him as a credible authority.

:P

The "Kennedy's record"

You mean Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s record on vigorous environmental defense?

the kennedy family is the very definition of everything you find wrong with the bush administration, yet you act like they are OK

Believe me, the Kennedy's are definitely not okay by a long shot. I think I have the right to differentiate between the policies and what the Bush family stands for, and the policies of and what the Kennedy family stands for.

And more often than not, I'll take the Kennedy's - at least for trying to promote social awareness, environmental protection, etc.

Well, the super bowl was fixed. The election was not. We went over this in December 2004. Nothings changed since then.
