I love my life. I have a great family, and one who loves me at that. But, I don't have that many friends and really wonder where I'd be right now if it weren't for those guys hangin' from basketball hoops and savin' the trees. I'm not emo, I don't do anything to hurt myself, no driking/drugs. I just wonder how my demeanor would be if I had never got into Pearl Jam.
Anyone feel the same way?

i thought about this the other day... this last year has been hard and i have listened to a very rediculous amount of pearl jam to get through it... i think i would prob be doing some bad drugs by now and really fucking up my life... but im fine with coming home from school and listening to a few pj albums rather than hang out with a bunch of fake ppl from my school and doing drugs to be "cool"i like to get a good buzz occasionally but thats mostly it

i wouldnt have just has some of the greatest few nights of my life, thats for sure.
i wouldnt be into as much music as i am without them. they were like a gateway band for me, introducing me to many new ones, and causing me to go back and rediscover some of my older favorites. then one day i showed up on RM's doorstep, and people here have gotten me into TONS of excellent new music.

If Pearl Jam wasn't around, I know I'd probably be causing mayhem or in some mental institution. Vitalogy got me through some REALLY tough times.
Plus I wouldn't have met some really great friends.

I'd be the exact same, except I wouldn't have two PJ posters from shows sitting on a shelf....or aids.

I'll still be listening to the Doors, possibly with the same boyfriend of '92 who didn't let me out to my fav club one night, and in protest I grabbed a sea-shell and desperately tried to crunch it by squeezing it hard in my fist (and Ungplugged was playing on the VCR).
