For us late 80s, early 90s fans of WWE, John "Earthquake" Tenta passed away today due to a battle with cancer.

I will always remember him best for "squashing" Damien, the snake that Jake Roberts used to carry around.

My thoughts & prayers go to his family during this tough time. :cry:

He also used to post at the Wrestlecrap board, which I frequent, and he was a really, really cool guy with a great sense of humor about all the ridiculous angles and gimmicks he used to be a part of. This is really a drag.

I can't believe how many people Hogan has outlived so far. Fuck, the guy has likely injected entire pharmacies worth of shit into his body for the past 3 decades and he keeps going...

I have the Wrestlemania DVD collection and it's amazing watching WM 5 and 6 and seeing all the people, on those two shows particularly, that are gone. Time to add another one. :(
