Does anyone here play guitar hero? Well, if you could be Mike McCready for one song, what would you want it to be? I would say the most obvious choice would be Evenflow. And that would work well for the mainstream. Anybody think PJ would ever do a Guitar Hero thing? They did do storytellers.

go or animal might be good choices. some people would know them, and if not, they would get to know them. i know that i got into a lot of groups via tony hawk soundtracks. bad religion!!!!

since i mentioned BR, i must say.... infected is their weakest song. maybe not overall, but it was a terrible choice, there are many better songs of theirs, and a lot that would work with the premise of the game.

these guys have been in a lot of games... tony hawk 2, crazy taxi, guitar hero, and im sure there are others.

guitar hero = one of the most fun games you will ever play

I'd love an exclusive disc of all PJ songs... if I had to pick one it would be Alive though - the solo at the end would be so much fun to play...

For those that don't want to look at the link.... Its a playstation game along the lines of Dance Dance Revolution. You have a toy guitar you strap on. It has 5 buttons on the first five frets of the neck, a strummer bar where strings would be... and a wammy bar. You hit the right button at the right beat of the song and if you are on beat you hear the guitar play the song... if you don't play you hear the rest of the band, words bass drums maybe another guitar....

Anyways, supposedly a Tool song is gonna be in Guitar Hero 2 coming out in November. The Chili Peppers and Audioslave had tunes in the first. So current rock acts do do it. There are about 40 or so tunes. Kiss is in the next one... so maybe they could put Alive and what's that Kiss song that the solo is ripped from in it and then people would only have to learn the one solo.

For those who think it's dorky or stupid... if you are ever somewhere and get a chance to play... JUst play one tune... I guarentee you'll have at least a little fun.

peace out,
steve

Oh, and Ledbetter would be sweet.
