Short version ... twice Bill O'Reilly claimed that Americans in WWII killed German soldiers who had surrendered. In actuality, it's a documented fact that in the aforementioned battle, German soldiers slaughtered American soldiers who had surrendered. One of his callers corrected him, and he claimed that he didn't say it. Then FoxNews edited the original transcripts so that it looked like he didn't say what he said, but Keith Olbermann had the original video.
