How is it that an album that's so easy to spell is the most misspelled album in history? I see it spelled 'Vitology' by people & reviewers about as often as I see it spelled correctly.. Has anyone else noticed this? You'll see it tons if you go read reviews at amazon. Even amazon themselves when listing the album spelled it Vitology.
This is the weird part... It's written in huge letters right on the cover of the album. How many other albums have the name of the album taking up the whole cover like that? Most people know how to spell 'vital'.. So how the hell is it so hard to notice it's 'Vitalogy'? It's truly one of the weirdest musical things in the world, it almost helps make the album more mysterious.

Weak album, weak title I think. Perhaps the title is instantly forgettable, much like the album?

It's because it's a really strange word. It's not like naming your album 'Oral Fixation' or 'Pearl Jam'. Almost the only time the word Vitalogy is used is in reference to that album, and even then most people say "Vitology".

No, really. I believe Vitalogy is the weakest of the albums Pearl Jam have recorded. Theres a few good tracks on there that I like to hear live, but as an album, I don't like it

Not insane, just different. But I can understand why you think that. Cal doesn't like Ten or Vs, and I don't get that. But it's his opinion, I respect that. I have the same feelings about Vitalogy, I don't rate it

no, no, you are insane. Stip is correct. There's no justification.
I think this is the first I've ever heard of someone saying Vitalogy is the weakest PJ album. Have you not heard Riot Act?

Riot Act is an inspiring CD. Throwing away everything expected of you to stand up for something you believe in honestly.
Second best, after Binaural
Is there any missing or are you serious? I mean, if you are it's good to hear somebody say that.
Not that I concur. But I really love the difference of opinions here because it can not, repeat, can not ever be ascertained which the best album is. I know that there are many who would like to have some proof that ---- (insert your fav) is officialy the best PJ album. To each their own I say (and to me No Code).
