When Kobe first came up to the NBA I thought he was cool. He actually played against my local high school and dropped some 40 points on them. Anyway, i thought he was cool but after a few years he became a goon. Even when the Lakers were unstoppable, he was always so goony

PLUS, I am a big Shaq fan...so Im on his side

in all fairness, while i think his actions have been deplorable at the least, in no way, shape or form, do i believe he raped her. she was simply looking for some quick cash

I'm not sure if he raped her either. I think i'm 50/50 on the subject. I just wish the trial would have happened. The civil trial should be fun though. All those nasty details are going to be told. The guy is obviously an asshole no matter if he raped her or not.

i cant go to the link now because im at school... but some girl was telling me to go to smokinggun and you can read his report... apparently, he asks the girl if he can put his man-juice on her face... could you imagine your wife reading about you asking another if you could do this?... no wonder she is telling her malone story... his wife is going to torture kobe for years and years and then a few more after that...

also the investigator/police apparently asked him what she said about letting him do that... he tells the cops that she said no, and then i guess they were all like "well did you do it after she said no?! did you do it?!"... he claims he did not... but it does show the police reachin for anything they can get on him... i think he's innocent of rape, but still a dumbass

That's his whole problem he thinks he is and will continue to be MJ.
Sorry Kobe, but you can't be put in the same universe as MJ.

Kobe is just trying to make himself look good because public opinion says he should be respectful to Shaq. He couldn't care less about Shaq. Kobe is selfish, just watch him play. He averages nearly a shot per minute played.

Honestly... I think Lebron is more mature than Kobe is at this point...

Lebron is the only hope this league has. Or if the Celtics-Lakers dynastys come back again.

Duncan is a throw back and Garnett is great too. The problem is they play the wrong style game. The league needs to become more pass oriented instead of all this Isolation crap. Lebron does that and even though they are 10-11 the Celtics are starting to do that as well. Boston could be scary in the east come end of january.

And the comeback of Grant Hill. I don't care if he never plays another game. If he makes it through this season playing like he has been, the NBA wins.

Grant Hill is great. I hope he continues playing well.

The Phoenix Suns are a great story this year, as well. Nobody's playing selfishly, and they have good attitudes as well so far.
