AL

1B: Konerko.
Hafner and Ortiz barely play in the field, they don't count.

2B: Jose Lopez
His average has dipped, but his power numbers and RBI crush all other players

SS: Tejada
Jeter is having a great year, but Miggy's HR numbers are impossible to ignore.

3B: ARod
No one is setting themselves as the front runner in this category. Throw 5 guys in a hat and pick one.

C: Mauer
.380! Seriously, there's no competition here.

OF: Vernon Wells, Carl Crawford, Alexis Rios (write in)
I don't like Ichiro because all he does is slap singles and steal meaningless bases. The 3 I chose are all having great all-around seasons.

NL

1B: Lance Berkman
Obviously, I would vote for Pujols if he was available.

2B: Dan Uggla
Having a remarkable rookie season out of nowhere.

SS: Edgar Renteria
The NL SS is awful this year.

3B: David Wright
This is the toughest position to pick. Cabrera, Rolen, and Wright?

C: Brian McCann
At least the Braves have him this year.

OF: Jason Bay, Carlos Lee, Alfonso Soriano
I'm not picking any Rockies, no way.

I can only remember the Dodgers I voted for, which were Nomar 1B, Russ Martin C (write in), Matt Kemp OF (write in) and Jeff Kent 2B (god knows why, he blows this year).

also David Wright 3B

I'll have to do this. Definately Crawford. He's having an amazing year. I wouldn't be suprised to see multiple D-Rays this year. Kazmir should be there as a backup pitcher.

Most fans vote based on name, not performance.

Which is why a guy like Posada will start ahead of a guy like Mauer.

He's having a terrible season. .279/6/38. Terrible choice, sorry. He's the worst infielder on his own team right now.

I voted for Barrett just for that punch of Pierzynski.

are people voting for Pujols NOW or did you vote for him before his injury?

voting for him NOW knowing there is ZERO chance he will play the game is why fans voting for the starters is bullshit
