Im sittin here listening to some tunes and decide to go over to amazon and read some reviews of the New Album. Most of these reviews on the New Album (even the good ones) make me wanna lock these people in a 6x6 foot room with no windows or doors and Good Charlotte playing for the rest of thier lives (theyd be begging for some PJ then). One guy says its the worst album hes ever heard, so i decide to check out his other reviews and he gives Godsmacks new album (whoever they are) a 5 star rating calling it a Masterpiece one of the greatest ever! I'm sorry but there are so many brainwashed by MTV and crappy radio stations people out there it makes me wanna kick all their asses! Im not just sayin this because im a die hard. im sayin this because i have ears and i know good talented music when i hear it. Go over there and read some reviews from Amazon (on the new album). You'll wanna vomit knowing that there are this many brainwashed scum out there in this world. Let me know if you feel the same. I'd write a review telling all them off but its too late for them its not gonna help. So please spread the good music to as many people as you can (not just the new PJ) before our entire world becomes Hip Hop crappy Pop Rock infested. Im talking bout new Chilis too. Some ok guitar work but its Pop Rock no energy no suprises just dull crap. Im finished now because im going to order some Godsmack CDs and some Good Charloote off of Amazon and take the meanist shit ive ever taken all over them and burnem. now people like cameronism really piss me off - as soon as someone says they dont like the new album (because it is fucking lame) they are automatically good charlotte fans! its not that the new album is shit is! it couldnt possibly be that!
personally where i stand, if i wanted to get a new fan into pj the last fucking record i would play them would be the new lp. it sounds tired, rehashed, has no great riffs, and plays up to everyones perception of pj as boring old rockers. in fact if i wanted to put someone off buying the new lp, all ill id have to do is play it to them. if you wanna get someone into pj you play no code, yield or vitalogy. if theyre a radiohead fan play 'em binaural. i hate the new lp and i gurantee its done more damage to the bands cred than even fucking riot act. people who recently thought about giving the band a spin again will here this new record and be put off for life, and i dont blame them. give em a copy of yield and they will wonder what they have been missing.

Interesting point of view. I think this is the first outspoken opinion I've seen against Avocado. For me, it's the bands best work in a long time, and certainly better than the likes of binaural, no code, and riot act.

If I wanted to get someone into Pearl Jam though, I'd give them some of the live boots from this tour, they're far better an experience than any one album I think

the way I see it, I'll never try to get Godsmack tickets. I hope everyone loves them and fights over their tickets, thereby freeing up PJ tickets for me.

Here we go with opinions again. I told someone yrs ago to give PJ a try. They bought " No Code"......and couldn't have hated it more. I bought them the new one now........and they loved it.
