I don't know how much I thought they made, but thats a lot of cash for a couple of nights worth of shows. Must be a good profit in that. Wander how much of that the band sees

And 1.8mil for the Toronto show, that was pretty spectacular for one show.
Just proves that tickets are overpriced.

Those figures are gross figures. Who knows how much the venue costs, subtract such things as electricity, security, band employees, and all the other costs associated with shows, to get the net figure for the show. I reckon that would be substantially lower

i would guess that you would have to atleast cut that in half by te time they pay all their crew, pay for the venue and other costs. then you have to remember they are giving 1 dollar from their tickets to charity, so i would say that over the 2 nights in camden they donated between 30 and 40 thousand.
and i also guess that total includes what they still have to give to ticketmaster.
so i doubt the band could retire off of one show like some where speculating back in that other thread, but im sure they make a good amount.

Didn't we see a number like 21,000 per band member per show?

Anyone want to find that thread for me?

I wonder why people complian about professional athletes making millions of dollars for a season, if a rock band can pull in that much in a couple of weeks?

I never thought I would see the day PJ made more money than Mr. Margarittaville himself, Jimmy Buffett.

They know that their fans are a little older (on average) and we can afford to pay the going rate now. I wonder what they are spending it on?
