Anyone heard of such a disc? A local shop says they can order it in...????

I heard of a live disc that was supposed to be given away by retailers to people when they bought Yield on the day of release, but it never happened. I think it was Best Buy that was doing it and they hadn't obtained the rights from Sony to distribute this live recording or something. I'm sure they're out there somewhere because the idea was scraped pretty close to the release date, but I doubt a retailer could order it from a distributor legally.
But who cares, if you can get your hands on one...

Its an official release of the Yield premiere with Dave Marsh. It talks of the album creation and such its pretty cool from the collector side of things. It has nothing on it that you havent heard before though. Has interviews and snippets of songs.

I have this disc. I got it when I purchased the Given to Fly single at HMV.

It's a pretty cool disc. A bunch of interviews with songs from Yield, as well as a couple of live songs.
