Its that time of the year again. Federer has the toughest quater of the draw. This is Agassi's last Wimbledon and hes going to retire after the Open. On the Women's side I would go with Justin HH, although my first love is with Hingis. Ive been asking all my students to do it and now Im asking you guys; Pick a Mens Champion besides Roger.

My pick: Mario Ancic

America vs. Europe

World Cup + Wimbledon + Tour de France totally dominate my agenda.

Yeah, World Cup really helps out this year, but not every year.

Euro Cup every 4 years (96 - 00 - 04 - 08 ...) makes up for that. :)

I'm gonna go with Agassi, not that i really think he's gonna win, but it would be a hell of a goodbye. I'll miss him so much

I've always liked Agassi. Would be good to see him win again.

Pity the British audience: we have to put up with our commentators harping on about Henman and Murray :x

Hey, the only french player that can actually play a decent tennis from time to time is up against Roger in the first fucking round. At least we won't have to put ut with stupid patriotism i guess.

Mathieu was the guy who came closest to beating Nadal on Roland Garros the past two years.

True, but that guys is soooo not reliable i can't count him, plus he's playing Philippoussis in the first round, so i wouldn't bet a lot of money on his ass even though Philipoussis is like half-retired.
I do like Mathieu's game, but the guy has no nerves. Great match against Nadal though, you're right, i think he was pretty close to beating him.

nadal was so close to going down. his game doesnt transition well on to grass, but his opponent played well the first 2.5 sets. good thing about the match was everyone found on nadal's forehand is his weakness on grass. cant wait for agassi vs. nadal tomorrow.
