I did a paper on it a few quarters ago, watching it 4-5 times in a month. I can go a looooooooong time without seeing it again. I've analyzed to the point to where it's not entertaining anymore. Sad, because it's great.

The scene where the boy films the leaves in the wind is one of the greatest scenes of any movie, in my opinion.

True. I also rented it because I adore Kevin Spacey, and my cousins didn't really care for it and neither did my cousin Pat's boyfriend. They wondered what I had rented when they saw the shower scene. :lol:

Damn good movie, and fine acting from Kevin Spacey as always.

You know, something I've always wondered about with this scene is, right after this movie came out, I saw an interview with Thora Birch, and they said she had just turned 18. Now, that would mean she was 17 when they filmed that, which is illegal, right? So, what's up with that?

They had to have written parental permission to film that scene, and her parents were on the set during filming.
