Remember in The Thing when the doctor is doing chest compressions on the dead guy and a giant mouth opens up in his chest and the docs arms sink in? And then this thing ends up crawling around on the floor?
and who could forget this one?

I saw the first Terminator when I was like 4 at my aunt and uncle's house. Totally scared the crap out of me for a few years.

The fucking witch in The Wizard of Oz scared the shit out of me as a kid.

Just out of curiosity how old were you when your parents let you watch those scary movies? sheesh, my parents didn't even let me watch an R rated til I was exactly 17 (I swear to god)
The Neverending Story was kind of freaky. The guy walked past the oracle and got ZAPPED.
And I didn't like the big rat in the Princess Bride (Rodent of unusual size).

Primarily Jaws and Jurassic Park.
There is a Swedish animated film from 1985 whose English title is Peter-No-Tail in Americat. For a kids' movie, it's really dark and fucked up. I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid, and I was always disturbed by it.

I used to stay over my cousin's house a lot when I was younger... when my aunt went out with my parents one night, it was up to my oldest cousin to watch us. He decided it would be a fun night if we watched "The Exorcist". Big mistake.
And yes, the "Thriller" video freaked me out as well... first saw it when I was 4 years old... my first taste of the horror genre. It was wild.
