Limbaugh Detained At Airport

(CBS4 News) WEST PALM BEACH Sources have confirmed to CBS4 News that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been detained at Palm Beach International Airport for the possible possession of illegal prescription drugs Monday evening.

Limbaugh was returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic when officials found the drugs, among them Viagra.

Limbaugh entered a plea deal back in April in a previous case where his charge of fraud to conceal information to obtain prescriptions was dropped under the condition he continue undergoing treatment for addiction.

Limbaugh had admitted to being addicted to pain killers on his radio program and had entered a rehabilitation program prior to that arrest.

He's a total hypocrite on the subject of drugs, what a jackass.

hehehe--viagara. people do use it recreationally...but given the physiological mechanism of the drug, that is about as smart as drinking a paint thinner cocktail.

it's only a big deal because he made it a big deal. Rush has a very strigent drug abuse policy that he put out years ago. I forget the exact thing he said, but he thought that recovering abusers should still be punished and was just so disgusted at the fact drugs could be abused. He took a very noncompassionate stance on the whole thing, and now he's a gigantic pill popper.

There are definitely people who have the views that he says on the radio, but apparently he doesn't follow what he preaches. And taht's pretty fucking lame.

I sure do feel sorry for the person on the receiving end of Rush Limbaugh's Viagra addiction.

I remember not facing the issue and instead I would address a past issue because that was easier.

The point is that many of you are going against every conviction you pretend to stand for because it is Rush Limbaugh. You know that it is ridiculous that someone was detained for an illegal Viagra prescription, and if it was anyone but Limbaugh it would be a gross violation of privacy, or just a plain idiotic display of judgement when considering the actual drug in question. Because it is Limbaugh, and it shows a very large hypocrisy in things he preached in the past, you throw out all of those convictions you hold because you hate the guy.

LW's comments are relavent because drug abuse is sad and correctible to you in certain instances, but when it comes to someone you dislike it is a joke. It is just a matter of consistancy.
