The stupidest? Not even top 10?
By most other bands standards No Code would be a very solid record but for me it will likely always rank as Pearl Jam's biggest disappointment for me. If it didn't follow vitalogy I probably would feel a little better about it, but No Code is the first time Pearl Jam ever let me down, and so part of me has never forgiven that record.
But I think Avocado is great, so what the hell do I know?

Stip, time to relax and lean back and have some therapy.
I'm glad you can talk about this disappointment - that's really good. Let it all out, don't let it eat you from the inside. Focus on the good things - there are some really great songs on No Code. How do you feel about that? One Present Tense should compensate for one Mankind, dont you think? And one In My Tree for one Off he goes? Maybe one day you can find it in your heart to forgive the album for all its shortcomings and fully appreciate its genius! End of session,
