Been listening to them since '94, only saw them 3 times, they did not come out to the east coast a whole lot. They are from SD and they love it there.
Get:
1. The State of Art is On Fire
2. Group Sounds
3. Paint....
4. RFTC
RFTC was a bit of a let down for me, not sure why, can't pin-point it.
Group Sounds, i now think is a great album. They got a new drummer before this album, it followed RFTC so i was a bit harsh on first listen. There are some rockers on there, and i think it is great.
If you want to Rock hard, the earlier ones are where it is at. They also have TONS of singles, EPS, etc. They have more vinyl than Pearl Jam i bet.

Great live band. Saw them at Reading one time and the power failed or whatever so they hosted a drinking beer from a shoe competition untill it was fixed.
