I'm a little surprised no one's mentioned it (or maybe they have & I'm a dumbass ) but PJ is playing a "secret" club show in LA. Announced on KROQ this morning. There's no date yet but I'm assuming it's Saturday, or next Tue or Wed. Haven't looked at the Fonda schedule so don't know for sure. Good luck to everyone trying to win tix:

I fucking hate KROQ. But I've tuned in at the top of each hour to win. No luck yet. There's hope though...I did score tix to a secret show of Jimmy Eat World's a while back, same kind of deal.

That's the show at the Forum. They're playing the Forum on the 9th & 10th. But the Fonda, no one seems to know yet. I hope it's next week & I have more time to win tix. I'm leaving for Vegas tonight
I called Henry Fonda theatre and spoke to someone there...they don't know which day yet, said they've heard a variety of dates and knew they were coming, but didn't know exactly when yet...
They forwarded me to a promoter, who didn't know anything about it yet either...sounds like it's all still in the works...

Well The KROQ webcast doesn't work on my mac so that is lame.
I'm sure the show is going to be on the 8th just like Sonic Youth has a fan club show on the 8th in LA as well.
If anyone has an passes or tickets to the Henry Fonda Theater show I'm ready to spend some $$.

I can't get the webcast either. I just found an old radio though. I also signed up for the street team.
According to the DJ no tickets will be on sale for this event. All tickets will be given out on air.

Why not? It worked for me once. I only missed one or two songs that way. But isn't it still possible Ten Club arranges some tickets for members in the area, like 'usual' ? I mean, there isn't even a date yet so there could still be plenty of time left.

i lived in NY for the past 5 years and was so pissed that I missed out on Letterman, Irving, and Storytellers by moving to LA! I sure hope they do the right thing and do a similar system for us long time fans out West!!!
