Description: Homer promises to take the kids to Duff Gardens but the trip is postponed when one of Marge's relatives die. On the newly scheduled date, Homer wakes up sick. Selma, unlucky in love, wishes to have a child so Marge thinks it's a good idea for her to spend some time with her own kids. Selma takes the kids to Duff Gardens hoping to get a taste of motherhood. The trip is a disaster. Bart gets trapped on a roller coaster and Lisa gets drunk. She decides that she isn't ready to have kids after all.

I like this episode mainly for the Duff Gardens scenes.

Patty: I can't believe Aunt Gladys is really gone.
Selma: Her legend will live forever.
Homer: [imagining] Yeah. The legend of the dog-faced woman.
Homer: [laughs hysterically] Legend of the dog-faced woman! Oh, that's good!
Marge: HOMER!
Homer: Wha--? D'oh!

Homer: S-s-ssoo coolld...
Marge: Homey, your lips are turning blue. I think you'd better stay home.
Homer: No! Duff Gardens, hurraaahhh... [faints on the car horn]

Bart: To get to Duff Gardens, I'd ride with Satan himself.
Selma: That's the spirit.

Bart: [reading] "BEER GOGGLES: See life through the eyes of a drunk."
[puts them on]
[Selma becomes a foxy lady]
Selma: You're charming the pants off of me.
Bart: [removing glasses] What did you say, Aunt Selma?
Selma: I said take off those damn glasses!

I learned on my recent honeymoon that most folks dont appreciate it when you sing these lyrics durning the small world ride at disney world :(

This one doesn't work on my DVD! About halfway through the episode, it just stops.

Anywho...possibly the best episode that heavily features Patty or Selma. Wait...I take that back. I thought of a better one. Still...great ep. Also, the first appearance of the all-important jub jub.
