Eh, she didn't really slam them. In fact she said she loves them. What she basically said was that they have gotten softer over time (which is true) and that she probably wouldn't consider them for Ozzfest because they don't cater to the fans that would be at Ozzfest.

Yeah. I'm not sure I can really disagree with that.

She didn't say that Pearl Jam creates timeless music and their body of work is that of a genius, so, for Pearl Jam fans, that means slamming Pearl Jam

what the fuck??????
how in the hell was she slamming pearl jam? i actually respect her for saying that, its almost more positive than negative...
again, what the fuck?????
No see my problem is the hypocrisy she shows by saying that PJ have become too soft and "gone mainstream". This from the woman whose family apparently can't exist 2 minutes without a camera documenting their every move for all the world to see because they're so fucking addicted to having attention.
FUN FACT (since I can't fit the actual show quote of Ed's): Sales of RIOT ACT upon 1st release were "insanely disproportionate" in the Camden/Philly area to the rest of the country.

This was posted on Blabbermouth as well, but as part of a larger article.
It doesn't sound like she's slamming Pearl Jam at all, but I certainly can't decipher enough of that garble to know for sure. To me it sounds like she is trying to say that she likes and respects PJ, but that they aren't suited for the Ozzfest crowd, which i couldn't agree more with.

Do it
I clicked it before I read these comments
I didn't like the gap comment but so be it. What suprises me is that she eems to think PJ ever would have been appropriate for ozzfest

Saving Ozzy's career only to destroy it and make a caricature out of him later on?
once she saved it it was hers to do with as she sees fit.
