Stop it now. It's wrong and will not be tolerated any longer. Stip made me the new PJ Chat mod, and if you disrespect this album, there will be repercussions. Serious repercussions.
Don't it make you smile?
Frank

no code is my favorite album of all time, in large part because in my tree is my favorite song of all time. i freaked my mom out because i told her that if i were to die young, i wanted that song played at my funeral and the lyrics to be in the little booklet they always had out at funerals. and i know that 95% of the ppl at this board dont need to be told this, but the sky i scrape and red mosquito are both pulled from no code. good times.

I wouldn't freak out Frank. I think Stip and I are the only really vocal No Code detractors.
That being said, I think not only is it a crappy album by Pearl Jam standards, it is a piece by anyone's standards.
I've repeated this ad nauseum, ten years of listening, multiple blunts smoked while listening with hopes of getting into it, but nothing each time. Three good songs, and a whole lot of crap.
I feel like a bastard for shitting on the don't hate No Code thread, but I think it's strange how you don't see any stop hating on Ten or Vs. threads, No Code and Yield fans are so sensitive.
I'm going to go now and exclusively listen to every pre No Code Pearl Jam album, to hear what some real albums sound like.
