...should be legal everywhere. I was thinking about this at work today when this gross chick I work with was explaining to me how big of a slut she is.
Basically...just because someone is accepting money for sex does not mean that they have any more or less of a chance of passing diseases on to you than anyone else in the world.

This is a very good question. I honestly have no idea. Yea...it's degrading and something I would never like to be a part of...but it's really no different than meeting a girl out one night, hitting it off with her, then taking her home and having mutual sex with her at no cost. Nor is it any different than having sex with your girlfriend. The truth is...you never know what someone has unless you get tested with them.

I mean really...whAT's the difference between paying for sex straight up, and "paying" for sex by taking a chick out to dinner and a movie?
Or paying for sex by having to answer that chick's phone calls for the next two weeks? Amirite, Bammer? Amirite?

the idea is certainly gross to me (paying for sex), but I don't really see the reason why it is illegal.
As long as it is well-regulated, the women are of-age, and are provided with access to health care and sanitary conditions, and there isn't coersion involved in getting the women to "work" (as I'm sure there is now) then what's the big deal? Tax the hell out of it and fund our schools.
gross? yes. illegal? no.

This is teh onyl reason it should be illegal. Even if there is no regulation involved, it should be legal for anyone who is 18 years old to offer sex for money.

Why should prostitutes get healthcare? No one else in America does.
