i just heard on espnews that beltran's agent is asking for this for his player. :shock:

he may get close to that if The Mets and Yankees get into a bidding war. If he stays with Houston, maybe 75 million.

i dont see why people get all uptight about what players want. obviously theres a market for it, and if someone was willing to pay a player that amount, more power to em

now when a player bitches about only making 4 million a year (or 14.6 million and he has a family to feed) then i can see griping about it
