I want an outsider's serious opinion:

How many wins this upcoming season?

7-8

Check out their last 6 games of the season. Brutal...

it depends on injuries.

10-6 or even 11-5 aren't out of the question. It's a tough division but one of the teams or more will fall on their faces and suck balls with injuries.

I think it depends on Mcnabb's health and thier desire to run the ball.

I think the draft picks will add quality depth, I like Reggie Brown but he's no superstar. Again it depends on the other receivers, especially Greg Lewis's ability to make big plays. Westbrook must say healthy, The Freak needs to be better, and they need who ever is in front of Trotter to allow him to make plays.

I think last year was a fluke, mostly caused by injuries and lack of depth. Trotter was awesome last year.

They get Mcnabb back, they get Akers back and so on and so forth. If it goes well they could have a good season, but that division is going to be brutal. Winning the home games is imperative.

i'd say they'll get to .500, so 8 wins.

cowboys should be better, the giants could be better, and the redskins should be just as tough.

I'm a biased fan but trying to look at this season objectively I see them winning 8 or 9 games.

Reasons to be optomistic. 1. Healthy McNabb, one thing above all else that will help you win is having a top notch QB. The Eagles have the best in the division. I have no doubt that he will be as good a player as has led them to all those conference title games. 2. The pass rush will be improved with Howard which should help the pass defense. 3. People worry about the offense not having any weapons but this offense is better than what they had for 3 of the teams that went to the conference finals.

Reasons to be skeptical 1. Do they have a servicable FB? A big reason why they have had so much trouble running the ball is that since John Ritchie got hurt 2 years ago they have not had a FB that can lead block. 2. Unless Justice turns out to be a solid player as a rookie DT is a huge concern and the single biggest problem on the team last year (unless you are counting backup QB). 3. Special teams, they were brutal on special teams last year. Healthy Akers and Dirk Johnson should really help but coverage and return teams were pathetic. 4. Can Westbrook stay healthy? When healthy he is one of the biggest playmakers in the league.

say what you want about the criminals and low class cretins (I'm kidding!) that root for the Eagles, but they would never trade their team for the fucking rock and roll Hall of Fame.

Reggie Brown was in studio down here this morning, he's in shape and working hard. Pretty much what I thought of him in the draft and while he was at Georgia. This guy is a tough, blue collar guy. I really hope he becomes the next Hines Ward type of reciever. True, I'm a Falcons fan and with all due respect I hate the damned Eagles, but man I've really liked their last two drafts and I wish we had Reggie Brown over maybe Mike Jenkins even though I like Jenkins too. IF they can get bunkley signed I think you'll like him in a couple of years, expect some rookie mistakes, but he could turn out to be like Corey Simon.

I still say 9-7 or 10-6 from the preseason. Everyone in that division has a tough schedule.

It's a huge plus to have Winston Justice signed and in camp and learning. We haven't signed anyone yet.

Considering he wacks off to Tom Landry's hat, I don't think that's possible.

But, while we're posting pics from last year:

where's the ball Mike?
