I saw this video on TV the other day and the irony of Bon Jovi implying that they were more relevant to the music audience of the day than PJ struck me as funny (the video was relased in 95):
Basically, the video centers around some kid at one of those viewing booths you see in record stores. Everytime it shows this rapper or "Eddie Vedder", he acts all confused and disgusted and then when Bon Jovi comes on, he creams himself.
Although, give credit where credit is due: the dude playing Ed is pretty spot-on. His facial expressions are damn near oerfect and the guy looks like Ed to begin with.
EDIT: I just realized that clip of "Ed" at 1:26 into the video cracks me up, even though it's accurate.
hey hey hey... let's be kind here... i personally cream myself whenever i see bon jovi... heck i dont even wanna know someone that doesnt!
btw, holy shit! I smoked so much weed up in college that I completely smoked all memory of that video out of my head...thats pretty funny though.
bon jovi must really hate rap and grunge/grunge spin offs... depicting eddie, courtney and wyland...obviously the final gasping breaths of the 80s hair was in that video...good find man

i remember that vid from way back - that is the cheesiest shit ever with those dumbass green-screen backgrounds throughout - and the song is cringe-inducing - as are bongiovi & sambora's "soulful" emoting.

I think the best thing they did on the video was parody the typical Bon Jovi listener...because there he is! Teenage dude, skateboard, hat backwards, and confused whether he should be listening to them or 2pac. Why did he start dancing along to 2pac at one stage, then rubbish it later?Amazing talent, taking the piss out of Ed,Courtney,2pac,Weiland etc and also themselves!
That Ed impersonator did some good work. Oh and I immensly dislike that song.
