What is your opinion on sportsmanship in professional athletics? Do you think the pros set a good or bad example of how aspiring young athletes should handle their victories, defeats and disagreements?

Bad examples I think, but then again sports are not these arenas of morality that some people seem to want to make them into. If you get head butted, well, you shouldn't heave been talking all that shit.

it depens on the player really. i wanna say sportsmanship is less important in in pro sports, but thats selling alot of athletes short. i think kids should learn sportsmanship from their own coaches, not pros.

But don't you think it is a little upsetting that at the professional level sportsmanship isn't practiced nearly as much?

I think its still practiced for the most part among the pros, its just the bad apples that always make the news.....making huge amounts of money doesnt help a guy thats talented and really doesnt give a shit to begin with

i think theres a lot of good sportsmanship in the pros, unfortunately the bad sportsmanship is what gets aired on tv..fights get better ratings than handshakes unfortunately
