Let's have a little roundtable with you two guys. First, when I say "hall of fame starting pitchers," who do you think of?

haha i had to get my words in at work, as i am also gonna incognito all weekend. i guess us stros fans have a little bit of a chip since we don't have an 'official rival' with the strangers being AL. the cards are our biggest but most redbirds fans say they hate the cubs much more. i don't like the cubs alot, but don't care cause well, they're the cubs. loveable losers i guess.

They're too busy having a great regular season then choking in the playoffs.

I mean, I wanna defend this but it happens every fucking year. Toward the end of the season Rolen will get hurt, Edmunds will wear down and the only guy doing anything will be Albert.

that's why they MUST make a move for someone like abreu or the like. get that pitching staff healthy and they will be series-ready... hard to say that coming from a stros fan.

No, we aren't lacking for passion. We're just a bunch of inbred hicks who don't use the internet.

uhh, short thread, since the astros don't really have any bonafide rivals.

Gentlemen, discuss.

And a subtopic: What's more girlish, changing your name from a pistol to the name of your stadium, or being named after something that subsists on seeds and nuts?

knuckles, why don't you join in sometime. oh wait you're too worried about your vocabulary and and what happens to seeds and nuts. sorry if this isn't 'intelligent' enough for you, maybe you'll find it elsewhere.

to answer your question, it's because my passion for the game pales in comparison to your compassion for the game. and i have no idea what the rest of your post means.
