He won't...he's going to have an off year. History proves that...14.5, 8.5, 18.5, 12.5, 9.5, 12...these are Taylors sack numbers...the guy takes time off.

But you can keep hoping...

they look like decent numbers to me considering hes triple teamed every play

you steeler fans better hope you have those cheater refs that fixed the superbowl for the dolphin game..even that may not be enough to help you win

yeah...they are decent numbers...but he takes every other year off...

blah, blah, blah...ever see the colts/steelers playoff game? great teams over come the "crooked" refs. go cry somewhere else.

Here's a little letter to Mike Holmgren, Seattle, you and whomever else wants to cry...

Dear yinz:

I'm really sorry that you think the refs took your Super Bowl away from you. While you're crying, it might be neat-o for you to watch the replay of the Steelers-Colts playoff game from this year to see how a real team overcomes questionable officiating. Somehow, even though the Steelers got totally ripped off by the officials in that game, they still won.

Oh, and coach Holmgren... I'm not hearing the NFL apologize to yinz after admitting they made wrong calls. Maybe that's because they didn't make any wrong calls. Questionable? Sure. Wrong? Nope.

Eat it, walrus.

by the way, one bad call didn't make the difference. Hasselback through the interception already...

What the hell are you talking about? There are maybe 2 players that have had more sacks than that over the past 6 seasons. That makes no sense

i can name 4 off the top of my head that probably have more in the last 4 seasons. Freeny, Rice, Strahan and Biamila...

As you can see...he under performs following the year of a double digit sack record.

i would read your letter, but i like my sight..i got through two words and now i need to take an alleve bec of the fuckin headache it gave me

plus i thought its funny when fans keep telling seattle to stop whining and crying..when 3 weeks before that..i never heard such a bitch fest..im trying to think back to that colts game, i can think of the troy p interception..but how else did they get screwed..i remember them shootin themselves in the foot a few times..but help me out here..what else happened

in the sb, they took away 2 tds from seattle (1 for sure, the other wouldve gave them the ball at the 1, and we all know sa's reputation there)..and gave 1 very very questionable td to pittsburgh..and that penalty on hasslebeck..wow..it thought it was vince and shane mcmahon reffin that one

...............................................................................

and im still tryin to figure out how over 75 sacks in 6 years is not good

or possibly when a player records a double digit sack year rival teams spend the offseason trying to find new ways to contain him

dude i watch the fins every single week..jt doesnt take time off..he fuckin plays his ass of every play..kinda like how troy p does for you guys..its crazy to see what he goes through some plays..itll focus in on him on a replay sometimes on a passing down trying to get by double and triple teams..its amazing the shit they throw at him

He's third on the list since 1996...now imagine if he wouldn't take years off???

A Decade of Excellence

Simeon Rice may not be the NFL’s active leader in sacks – the Giants’ Michael Strahan has the edge, 129.5 to 119 – but he is the league leader since he entered the league in 1996.

Rice has played 10 seasons while Strahan, New York’s second-round pick in 1993, has played 13. Since the Cardinals took Rice in the first round in ’96, he has racked up 119 sacks, just ahead of the 116.5 put up by Strahan. Those two have no real competition for the top two spots on either list; Jason Taylor is third on both with 92.5. Kevin Carter and Warren Sapp are fourth and fifth on both lists.

He would be number one...

By the way...do you know where he is from?
