"Anne Wiazemsky (Godard's then-wife) plays a philosophy student who sympathizes with a group of Maoist supporters. Their fanaticism is heightened by their inability to see beyond the propaganda and iconography of the cause. Godard explores the degree of their fanaticism in typical non-linear style..."
I love Godard's 60s work, its one of the great achievements of the past 100 years in cinema. Unfortunately, this film is not available in the states yet for some reason. I think Godard has gone in and out of style and its waiting for someone daring enough to be a distributor, who knows. Anyway, I found this on ebay as a region 2 DVD which won't play on my DVD player. Woe is me.

I just ordered an all regions DVD from Australia, I couldn't help myself. Will do a review and maybe do a Godard profile for the AE section in a few weeks.
